    2. A conflict between student union and schools union of Pharmacy
    Colleges
    3. This year, most of the Pharmacy Colleges in Korea have raised their tuition fees. This was confirmed by the schools union of Pharmacy colleges in Korea. The students of Pharmacy Colleges have complained that this is not officially fair. The students union said there could be a rise for a tuition fee if its needed, however, it shouldn't be confirmed without legitimate explanation on a tuition fee hikes. I agree with the students union because i also understand that colleges could raise their tuition fees if they need them for better education and facilities at campuses, however, the schools union didn't give the students any explanations behind it. Students wouldn't be able to know where the money is being used. It is not about right or wrong, but it is about understanding.

    4. In protest, members of the association held a press conference at the Acropolis Square
of the Seoul National University campus on Wednesday.

They argued that eight pharmacy colleges out of 20 increased tuition over 15 percent,
much higher given that other universities raised tuition fee by only around 4 percent.

Especially, Chungbuk National, Pusan National and Kyung Hee universities recorded the highest increase rates of 34 percent, 33.4 percent and 26.8 percent, respectively.

    2. North Korea women are in danger.
    3. This is an article about women who is suffering from sexual violence in North Korea. Traditional values that consider women lower than men in social rankings, there were no exceptions for North Korea women who is joining military service. Those women were main target for sexual violence. Sadly when women got raped, they can not report it anywhere because there are no strict regulations against crimes. Also women are treated as a piece of trash when they report it somewhere. I guess women in North Korea has a worst human rights.
    -------------------
    4. It remains unknown how many women serve in the 1.2 million-strong North Korean military, but joining the armed forces is considered an honor even for women in the communist country that upholds the military-first, or songun, policy, according to Citizens' Alliance for North Korean Human Rights (NKHR).
"Violence against women is ... especially notorious within the construction unit. When a woman enters the construction unit, people say it's impossible for her to protect herself from the sexual, physical and verbal abuse because the construction unit has no strict regulations against crimes," it said.
"In the military, all men go after pretty girls," NHKR quoted Kim Young-ok (alias), a female defector, as saying. "When girls get raped, they can't report it anywhere."

    2.How people can easily obey.
3.Before I comment this article, I briefly introduce this article. This article is about experimentation how people can easily obey conducted by Stanley Milgram. What we want to know through this experimentation is that people indeed can obey even though in inhuman situation and if did, how much degree people do that. The experimentation was conducted by using electronic shock to student. Student was told the true before experimentation and teacher(experimenter) was ordered to use electronic shock if student say wrong answer.
The result was surprising. Because most of the teachers use the electronic shock up to at the level of killing people. I think that its psychological thing is one of the reasons why social stratification or inequality are remaining even in democratic countries. I feel people tend to belong to some groups for their safety and protecting their properties. Also when people decide to do something, they can easily obey from their boss because of same reason. No matter how humankind has evolved and been evolving, this kind of egoistic psychological mind or perhaps very basic feeling will remain forever. Considering world history, this concept is driving force for people to live. And it has reflected as cooperation, trade and war like Lybia and so on.
    ------------------------------------------------------
4.This is the last sentence : Young people who read this article please do not follow the authority. If the authority is irrational, please resist. That's the hope in this country. After reading this sentence, I thought a lot. For instance, form the people'instinct as I mentioned to that if I'm in kinda irrational situation,
do I indeed have to resist that situation. If I resist, which methods do I have to resist. Just fight for changing social structure that made by predecessors or for own my properties. I don't know exactly what I have to do and I feel that's the main point in our class.

2.N. Korean women in military widely exposed to sexual violence.
    3. North Korea is one of the worst human rights violators in the world, especially is notorious for inequality about gender and social levels. Then these days discrimination and violence to women in military is unrelenting. It is a big problem that even though the victims report their damage, it just defied by government and judged that their behaviors were wrong. The human right group in North Korea protest about inequality but it also be defied so easily. This kind of irresponsible handling of government raise the sexual crimes indirectly. Also military is almost the only way to get social status for women, victims prone to hide their damage because it can harm their way to go up. High level of man abuse this kind of mentality. If these vice circles keep going, North Korea's woman right must be lowered more and more.
    ----------------------
4.Raising concerns over widespread cases of rape against women in all sectors of North Korea, including schools and workplace, NKHR said the government continues to evade responsibility for sexual crimes in the military despite its huge attention to defense.

I think if government just keep evading the sexual problem, sexual inequality can't be improved even though human right group's effort.

    2. Social problems linked to wealth gap: study
    3. Even though people say that everybody, whether they are poor or rich, are equal, this news article proves that it is not. The more money you have, the more opportunities you get. Therefore, even if the laws seem to be fair for everyone, it is even more fair for the rich people because the rich ones get more chances to create more money since they already have something to start with when in the opposite, the poor people have got nothing. As a result, it makes the gap between the rich and poor even bigger and creates more conflicts between them because everything gets worse for the poor people and it becomes even harder to create equality after then. A research found in the book in the article shows that egalitarian places like Scandinavia outperform the highly stratified places like Britain. This officially proves how wealth gap brings inequality to the society and how more equal countreis do better than the others. The news article made me think about the vicious cycle and how unfair it is for the poor people for not getting many chances to become richer just because they were born in their families, which they did not choose on their own. I hope more countries should become more equal and make the world better and fair for everyone. In order to do that, I believe there should be some kind of new solutions/methods/laws to give extra more opportunities to make the poor people’s lives better.
    ----------------------------------------------
    4. The greater the gap between rich and poor, the more likely people will grow up a drug user, a criminal, less educated, obese, pregnant while a teenager, even less trusting of others. That is the main thesis of The Spirit Level: Why More Equal Societies Almost Always Do Better, by British researchers Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett, which tracks income inequality against social indicators including health, education and crime.

    2.Something about nuclear safety
3.Statistics from the International Atomic Energy Agency in January showed that there are presently 442 commercial nuclear reactors around the world generating about 16 percent of the world's electricity. The World Nuclear Association also predicts that there will be one 1,000-megawatt nuclear power plant built every five days by 2015. The ongoing nuclear crisis in Japan teaches the world a lesson: There is no absolute guarantee of safety in developing nuclear energy, no matter how much people rack their brains to ramp up security measures.
    -------------------
4.These days the disasters in Japan attract our eyes, and I am always thinking that the reason of the earthquake is just the movement of earth, is there any other reasons that lead to this big disaster? If the disaster in Japan is only the damage of earthquake, people from all of the world may have more sympathy to them and want to help them a lot. However, the nuclear crisis are regarded the “extremely serious” problems after the explosion of nuclear power. It directly affects the attitude change of world people, in other word, people pay more attention to Japan not only worry about the victims in Japan but also care about the crisis of nuclear. For instance, some countries such as Franc gave up the rescue in Japan because of the radiation. Other countries, such as China, Korean are also afraid of the radioactive materials may influence the local people with the prevailing wind.
At the same time, there also exist some people suspect that reasons of nuclear explosion are not only the earthquake but also our human beings such as the test of nuclear and the damage the environment. As a result, some people`s attitudes are complicated, and it includes the sympathy to Japanese, the hate for nuclear power, the sad of nothing to do for the big disaster, ect.
    --------------------
5.I think it is high time that nuclear powers join hands to tackle the causes behind accidents as well as develop new equipment to deal with nuclear tragedies. No single country should take nuclear safety for granted. What they need to do is take concrete measures right now.

    2. Struggle about evacuation of the USFK.

    3. There are two groups of koreans having two totally difference opinion for US army in South Korea. The one is a group which agrees with USFK, and the other one is a group that having a opposite opinion about it.
Based on this argument, I think that the writer of the article definitely support the latter.
In this article, he insists that the USFK is a main reason of a causing trouble in the Korea peninsula. On the other hand, I am on the opposite site of the writer's opinion. Even though some US soldiers made several serious crimes continuously, US armies' evacuation from South Korea is absolutely not a best solution at all. If US armies' evacuation happened in South Korea, it would be offer a just huge opportunity for North Korea to attack South Korea.

To protect South Korea, instead of arguing with these matters, South Koreans need to have a mature attitude with open mind to be strong country.

    3. An actor Bae Yong-Japan Tourism served 10 billion, and moet popular Korean stars served for the largest of the Japanese earthquake emergency relief to the affected areas fundraising 600 million won donation has become a hot topic.
Meanwhile Japanese netizens react that "Korea celebrities to donate more than the Japanese artists do not like"

    4. This article suggested that Korean actors have believed and reconized they are 'public figure' And their donation means a lots of idea about celebrities in Korea. They are somebody (upper class) in Korea. therefore they should help other people who do not have these advantages, like 'noblesse oblige' But only ‘Korean wave Stars ’ dominated large numbers of money suggested that it might be reinvestment about Japanese Fan for them.

    2.famliy and socialsratification

3.as we know ,family is the basic components in society and it has an extremely big influence on the condition of society.so it is natrual to understand that the social stratification in society is partly due to the famlily.for instance , values, perspectives, lifestye, the concept os consumption, occupation and so on ,all of thses things have a big influnence on the social stratification and become a obstacle for the social mobility.but the great thinker Plato in 300B.C. has come up with the idea of bringing the children out of the family in order to reduce the influence of family on inequallity, and the history also gives us the answer to this measure with failure.but when i read the Chinese recent history i am so surprised to find that there is one solution to solve this problem ,though not completely ,but itis really useful ,namely ,the national policy.there is no dout that the government policy has the property of compulsion on citizens behavior and play a important role in changing peoples values.Implementing the equal policy among diffent families by giving them the same educatinal environment can reduce the inpact of social status and economic situation and the cultrual infuence on children, to some extent to reach relativelly equality. There is an evidence on Chinese recent history during 1949-1970 that the familys influnence on education is very little because of the policy applied to advocate the elimination of inequality, but as the change of policy to make the education belong to the market ,things have changed,so i think nowadays we can rethink about the effect od government policy.

    -------------

the main point is nowadays in China the inequality of education is beacause the change of policy to make the main aim of eliminating the inequality to beacome maket-oriented.the feeling of unfair is become stronger and stronger.
